It figures Carey Price would find his game just in time to play the Vancouver Canucks.
The Montreal Canadiens’ all-star goaltender had a dismal time for most of February. From Feb. 1-22, he won only two of his eight starts, with a .898 save-percentage. He also saw his longtime coach Michel Therrien fired.
But Price and the Canadiens have turned a corner lately under old/new coach Claude Julien. The Habs’ starter entered this game on a personal four-game winning streak, with one shutout. Price is back to the elite form he showed early in the season.
