Before the Vancouver Canuckssurrendered four goals in the third period, they were leading the Boston Bruins 3-2.
Two of those goals came back in the first period courtesy of Markus Granlund. After Boston opened the scoring, Granlund and linemates Henrik Sedin and Daniel Sedin combined for two goals, 78 seconds apart.
That makes Granlund the Canucks Player of the Game:
The first goal from “Granimal” came at 15:47, when Henrik won a defensive zone faceoff, and all three of them burst up the ice. Daniel found Granlund just inside the blueline, and he wired a laser past Tuukka Rask:
The trio went to the bench, but were right back on the ice after the Canucks’ next change.
