The experiment of Loui Eriksson with the Sedin twins has largely been a failure for the Vancouver Canucks. Through six games, they have only managed to connect for three goals at five on five. They’ve also allowed two goals, which basically negates any offensive contributions they’ve made.
It’s probably too early to say the Sedins and Eriksson can’t figure it out this year. They were far too impressive in the World Cup of Hockey to be this big of a failure in regular-season hockey. However, as long as they continue to struggle, there will be discussion about who should be the new winger with the Sedins.
