Not a whole lot went right for the Vancouver Canucks in 2017-18, but rookie Brock Boeser was a positive with 29 goals and 55 points in 62 games, losing out on the Calder Trophy race to Mathew Barzal.
Expectations are much higher for Boeser in 2018-19, and the 21-year-old could be one of the top goal-scorers if he can stay healthy throughout the season. A full season with Bo Horvat or Elias Pettersson as his centre will certainly do wonders for Boeser, who’s primed to be a 30-goal candidate for a long time.
