Expectations will be much higher for Vancouver Canucks centre Elias Pettersson in 2019-20, as the reigning Calder Trophy winner looks to build off a superb 28-goal and 66-point season.
Obviously, maturity and experience will help Pettersson get better over time. Not only that, but offseason acquisition J.T. Miller should slot in alongside No. 40 and Brock Boeser, giving Pettersson a pair of dangerous snipers and goal-scorers.
Indeed, Pettersson is line for a monster sophomore year.
Before we know it, Pettersson will enshrine himself as one of the league’s elite centres.
