On Wednesday night, the Vancouver Canucks left their fans with a handful of unforgettable memories after defeating the Los Angeles Kings 8-2 in the home opener.
The night got off to an emotional start when Henrik Sedin presented Bo Horvat the captaincy, which led to giant roars inside Rogers Arena.
And then there was that whole 8-2 victory thing against the Pacific Division rival Kings, which marked Vancouver’s first win in their 50th NHL season. Oh, and rookie Quinn Hughes notched his first career goal in the opening frame.
Indeed, it was a special and extraordinary evening for the Canucks and all their fans.
