Today the Vancouver Canucks added New Jersey Devils forward Reid Boucher via waivers. Boucher, a 23-year-old winger, had been waived by the Devils in December and was claimed by the Nashville Predators. The Predators, too, placed him on waivers on January 2, hoping to assign him to their AHL affiliate, but the Devils claimed him back.
Again, Boucher had no time to adjust to his new destination, as the Devils waived him once more; this time with the Canucks putting in a claim.
Boucher is a fifth-year pro with the experience of 184 AHL and 85 NHL contests.
