The Canuck Way continues its series looking at the best Vancouver Canucks at every number. This time we look at No. 10. From the very moment that Pavel Bure arrived in Vancouver, there were ripples in the water. Drafted 113th overall in 1989 while playing for the Central Red Army Team, the move was highly controversial. Teams believed that Bure was ineligible and initially the pick was made illegal by league president, John Ziegler. After an appeal and lengthy negotiation with Soviet officials, Bure finally made his debut on November 5th, 1991. Almost immediately, the Russian Rocket would make a big impression and would prove to be one of most exciting and deadly wingers in the league.
