The Vancouver Canucks have sent Adam Gaudette back to the AHL’s Utica Comets, the team announced on Thursday morning.
Gaudette, a frequent healthy scratch, has only suited up in three games for the Canucks this season — recording one assist. The 23-year-old only averaged 11:31 time on ice during those three contests.
Utica figures to receive plenty more offence from the 2018 Hobey Baker Award winner. Nikolay Goldobin and Sven Baertschi have been dominating the competition in the minors, with nine and eight points through four games, respectively.
