Going into Sunday’s game, the Vancouver Canucks had a 2% chance of making the playoffs, and the players certainly are beginning to feel like their chances are growing slimmer with each loss. Sunday’s 3-0 loss certainly doesn’t help the team’s playoffs chances or morale. Here are my three takeaways from yesterday’s shutout loss.
Lines get a major shakeup
It’s no secret — the team has not been playing their best hockey as of late. Elias Pettersson seems to be in a bit of a slump, and Brock Boeser seems to be experiencing some struggles with his own play as well.
