It was a frustrating game to say the very least. Despite a decent effort that saw the Vancouver Canucks outshoot the Anaheim Ducks 35-22, the Canucks were shut out in a game they probably should have won. Here are my three takeaways from last night’s game.
Goldobin back in the doghouse?
The efforts of Nikolay Goldobin on Monday night against San Jose were apparently not enough to keep him in the lineup for last night’s game in Anaheim.
With the recalling of Adam Gaudette, it was clear that Markus Granlund would be relieved of his duties at center, as Gaudette slotted into the third line center position.
