Vancouver Canucks: 3 forwards that could be traded before the season

Vancouver Canucks general manager Jim Benning had one busy offseason, acquiring a pair of capable top-six forwards in J.T. Miller and Micheal Ferland while giving his blue line a fresh makeover.

Benning signed the hulking Tyler Myers, B.C. boy Jordie Benn and 27-year-old Swede Oscar Fantenberg. The Canucks bid farewell to Derrick Pouliot (signed with the St. Louis Blues) and likely Ben Hutton, who remains unsigned.

It’s hard to complain about the work Benning has done this offseason. He’s added some nice pieces to the young core of Elias Pettersson, Quinn Hughes, Brock Boeser and Bo Horvat, and the Canucks are primed to push hard for a playoff spot in 2020.
