Vancouver Canucks 2018-19 season grades: Tim Schaller

Tim Schaller had a frustrating year. Even he will tell you that. When the Vancouver Canucks gave him a two year deal with an annual average salary of 1.9 million, they were hoping he would be the same player he was with the Boston Bruins in 2017-18, where he appeared in all 82 games and potted 12 goals.

Schaller was a fan favourite in Boston, but that title doesn’t really apply to Schaller after his first season in Vancouver, where he played in just 47 games, picking up ten points. Let’s take a look at Schaller’s season and what he can do to make the most of the final year left on his contract.
