Chris Higgins is likely to miss a few weeks after blocking a shot in the foot from Brenden Dillon in the Canucks 1-0 OT victory last night over the San Jose Sharks.
Sportsnet's Irfaan Gaffer saw Higgins walking around in a walking boot while the Canucks practiced ahead of their second preseason game tonight versus San Jose.

Although nobody likes to ever see an player go down with an injury -- especially this early in the season-- there is a silver lining for Canucks prospects vying for a roster spot if the versatile 2-way winger is out for the foreseeable future.
