THE ROUNDUP: Philly Responds, Vegas Is Golden In OT, Minnesota’s In The Wild...

WINNIPEG 4 MINNESOTA 1 (Jets lead series 2-0)

The Jets made the most of home ice advantage, and got a big game from big Tyler Myers in a 4-1 win over the Wild. Myers had a goal and an assist, and they also got 2 helpers from Jack Roslovic, who replaced Mathieu Perrault en route to the victory. While Game 1 was a fairly even contest, this one wasn’t close. The Wild managed just 17 shots last night, to 44 for the Jets. The goal of the night was this Sedin-like set up from Dustin Byfuglien (and look at the confidence of having a D-man behind the opponent’s net) to Paul Stastny for the tap in.
