The intrepid reporters in the sports department at NEWS1130 radio in Vancouver broke some qualifying offer news this morning. Alex Grenier, Mike Zalewski and Andrey Pedan have all received qualifying offers from the Vancouver Canucks this morning. Linden Vey has not received a qualifying offer and says he doesn't expect one. Emerson Etem's agent has been told to talk to the Canucks at the draft.
Grenier's agent said he will not accept the qualifying offer, hoping to negotiate a better deal.
Been told the Linden Vey situation is fluid but it doesn't look like he will get a qualifying offer.
