The Vancouver Canucks could have lost by a much wider margin last night, but stayed in it despite their poor effort. The final score was 2-1 for the Flyers.
A solid start for Demko
The Canucks didn’t offer much help for goaltender Thatcher Demko, who held them in the game early when they were under siege late in the first and for the majority of the second period. Demko made some incredible saves and may have turned the best performance of any Canuck last night.
Demko finished the game with 32 saves and was named the second star of the contest.
