The Vancouver Canucks will get right back to playing the Oilers tonight, but last night’s game certainly had some things that caught my attention.
Secondary scoring makes the difference
Last night’s game was a prime example of how important secondary scoring is. It’s no secret that the Oilers’ best players are Leon Draisatl and Connor McDavid, but they simply don’t have much help in terms of secondary scoring.
Sam Gagner was playing in the minors at this time last year while in the Canucks’ organization, and now serves as the Oilers’ second line center.
