It is ironic and at least a little sad that Eddie Lack was not as wildly popular in the Canucks’ dressing room as he was in any space in Vancouver outside of it.
Don’t miss understand; teammates liked Lack. Everyone liked Eddie. I liked Eddie. Like Eddie — he’s not dead, just playing hockey for the Carolina Hurricanes.
But Eddie Lack as a Canuck was wired differently, acted differently, and teammates hardly knew at times what to make of a goaltender who seemed as focused on his Twitter account off the ice as he was on stopping pucks on it.
