The Canucks opened the 2021 season with a big 5-3 road victory over the Edmonton Oilers despite missing JT Miller, their leading point scorer last season. There were plenty of good takeaways for the Canucks, including another superstar debut from a rookie in Nils Hoglander, but they won't have long to rest on their laurels as they play again tomorrow.
The condensed schedule that this season offers will test how deep the Canucks are but if tonight was any indication then they should be able to do just fine.
