The day started with news of Reid Boucher potentially leaving the organization. Then, it was confirmed that Nikolay Goldobin would be leaving the Canucks organization as well.
This move was long rumoured, but it became official today that Goldy would join CKSA Moscow on a two-year deal.
After Goldobin signed a one-year, one-way contract for $900,000 last year, he ended up playing one game at the NHL level. He did register 19 goals and 50 points in 51 games for the Utica Comets, second only to the aforementioned Boucher.
