Game Day: Slumping Canucks hope the road can again be their friend vs. Flames

CALGARY — Vancouver Canucks captain Henrik Sedin, as he is wont to do during difficult times, was searching for a positive.

"Well, it's a road game," he said of tonight's game against the Calgary Flames (6 p.m. Pacific time, on Sportsnet Pacific, TSN 1040). "That's good. It is good for us to get away and play on the road. There's no secret about that."

After suffering their sixth straight home-ice loss Thursday night to the Anaheim Ducks, the Canucks were happy to head to the airport and go, well, just about anywhere.

The fact is the Canucks have looked more at home on the road this season, where they have a semi-respectable record of 13-10-7.
