Denis Potvin apologizes for calling Daniel Sedin a ‘lowlife’

Hall of Fame defenceman and Florida Panthers homer broadcaster Denis Potvin is sorry for calling Canucks forward Daniel Sedin a “lowlife.”

Potvin hurled the insult at the classy Sweden after the Canucks forward scored the winning goal in Vancouver’s 3-2 overtime victory over the Panthers at Rogers Arena Monday.

Potvin also made a goofy comment concerning the Sedin twins, their fingers and peanut butter that no one quite understands.

“The Sedins are pointing fingers now … normally they only use those fingers to lick the peanut butter off their bread,” he exclaimed.

Potvin’s brain should probably apologize to his mouth.
