The Oshawa Generals got the start they wanted to at the 2015 Mastercard Memorial Cup. It might have a little exciting at the end, but the Generals were able to hang on for a 4-3 win.
Oshawa controlled the first 15 minutes of the game. They had a 2-0 nothing lead by the time the three-quarter of the first stanza off of goals by Ottawa Senators prospect Tobias Lindberg and New York Islanders prospect Michael Dal Colle. However, they let go of the reins and the Rimouski Oceanic were able to tie the game before the period was over.
