A couple of streaks ended Tuesday when the Canucks finally made something good happen at home as they snapped the Montreal Canadiens’ nine-game winning streak with an impressive 5-1 victory at Rogers Arena.
The Canucks got two first-period goals from rookie centre Jared McCann as they raced to a 3-0 lead and ended a five-game winless streak on home ice this season.
Ryan Miller, who has started all nine games for the Canucks this season, was rock solid in goal and stopped xx of xx shots.
