Canucks sign G Richard Bachman and Taylor Fedun for AHL Depth

With the departure of Eddie Lack and Ryan Stanton, the Canucks needed to add some depth in the crease and on the backend. Richard Bachman, who was sensational when he played the Comets in Round 2 of the Calder Cup playoffs was signed to a two-year contract likely because the Canucks scouts were impressed with his .953% in 9 playoff games. Bachman likely has the edge over Joe Cannata for the Comets starting position next season. Fedun, who dressed in 11 games for the San Jose Sharks last year, recorded 4 assists in 7 games.

The Canucks goaltending depth was one of the main issues that needed to be addressed heading into the offseason.
