The Vancouver Canucks are in desperate need of scoring help and Swedish winger Anton Rodin was one of the big hopefuls. However, he has only appeared in one game so far this season, and it looks like the might be out for the rest of it.
The club released a statement regarding Rodin’s health this morning:
This development is not only unfortunate for the Canucks and their scoring woes, but especially for Rodin personally.
The 26-year-old winger injured his leg in January 2016 and was forced to undergo surgery. He has been in recovery ever since, and it seemed like he could return for the 2016-17 season.
