VANCOUVER — Winger Chris Higgins will make his return to the lineup tonight when the Vancouver Canucks close out a two-game homestand against the Pittsburgh Penguins (7 p.m., Pacific time, on Sportsnet, TSN 1040).
Higgins fractured his foot while blocking a shot in Vancouver's pre-season opener in Victoria in September.
He will skate tonight on a line with Bo Horvat and Jannik Hansen.
"It's difficult when you miss this many games to start the year," Higgins said after this morning's game-day skate. "It puts me behind the eight-ball a little bit, but I feel like I have been working hard and the training staff has done a good job of keeping me in shape.
