After losing three straight games — and seven of their last eight overall — the Vancouver Canucks have rebounded with consecutive road victories against top quality teams.
The slump buster began on Thursday night in the Music City, where the Canucks held off a relentless Nashville Predators team to skate away with a 6-3 victory. Less than 48 hours later, Vancouver held off Alexander Ovechkin and the powerhouse Washington Capitals for a narrow 2-1 shootout win.
With that, it feels as though Vancouver has regained its strong October form again. They sit at 12-8-4 with 28 points, keeping pace with the surging Arizona Coyotes and the Pacific Division leading Edmonton Oilers.
