The Vancouver Canucks got two points. Defenceman Matt Bartkowski got three.
Bartkowski, one of several Canucks reported to be on the market before Monday’s National Hockey League trade deadline, scored two goals and added an assist as Vancouver came from behind to beat the Ottawa Senators 5-3 at Rogers Arena on Thursday.
“A career night,” Bartkowski said with a laugh. “It was good. I thought we played well as a whole. There was a lot of ice out there and we took advantage of it. Got a couple of goals and it helped.”
Bartkowski chuckled again when it was suggested his offensive explosion Thursday may have upped his trade value.
