With all the road teams winning their opening games, should we have been surprised Wednesday ?
Credit the Flames. They were able to do what they needed in Game One. That result made this game an ( almost ) "must win" for the Canucks tonight. They were successful in a rollicking game where they took every different attempt to change the game by the Flames and matched it, physically and on the scoresheet. They did it by playing desperate hockey, matching the Flames and bettering them at most facets of the game.
You do have to wonder about Bob Hartley sometimes however.
