The highest rated Swede according to the International Scouting Service, Eriksson Ek reminds me of Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Frederik Gauthier. When Gauthier was drafted, it was his defense that was lauded and it still is. So it is with Eriksson Ek. His offensive game is a little more developed at this point in his career than it was in Gauthier’s but there are definite similarities.
