On Wednesday afternoon, sophomore guard Javon-Freeman Liberty announced on Twitter that he will be declaring for the 2020 National Basketball Association Draft. He is one of four Valpo players to declare for the draft, joining former players Alec Peters, Tevonn Walker, and Derrik Smitts.
“Overall, I have learned to value my team and family because they have motivated me and helped me mold into the person that I am today. I would like to thank my family, coaches and trainers who have stood behind me every step of the way. With that being said, I have decided to test the waters and enter my name into the 2020 NBA Draft,” Freeman-Liberty said.
