Sports have always been a huge part of the culture here at Valparaiso University. From the iconic “The Shot” that sent the Valpo men’s basketball team past Ole Miss and into the Sweet Sixteen, to the many times the Victory Bell has been rung after victories. It is safe to say that athletics have been pivotal to the success of the university. However, athletics cannot be celebrated without mentioning the female athletic teams and their numerous successes that have put Valpo on the map.
Not only has Valpo produced great women’s teams across all sports, but the leaders that coach these teams have left legacies here at Valpo that are commendable on all levels.
