At the beginning of the season, men’s basketball head coach Roger Powell Jr. knew that this year was going to be an exciting one.
“This is year two for me. In year one, I was figuring things out, and obviously we’ve got to figure things out. We were kind of getting our culture developed, and now our culture is here and I’m fired up about how it’s going to be displayed this season,” Powell said.
Powell made this statement in October 2024 during the preseason press conference. Now, nearly three months into the season, it has been nothing short of exciting.
