New opponents and familiar ones are on the horizon for Valparaiso University (Valpo) men’s basketball team this season. The team announced a bulk of their non-conference schedule Aug. 11 on http://www.valpoathletics.com.
Valpo announced seven non-conference games to start off the 2021-2022 season. The team only had three home non-conference games last season.
The team will start the season with two exhibition matches against two Division II opponents. On Saturday, Oct. 30, Valpo plays against Ashland University. The Beacons take on Flagler College on Thursday, Nov. 4.
Valpo will open up their regular season against the University of Toledo on Tuesday, Nov.
