On the third weekend of February, Valpo’s Track and Field team split up to face adversity in two different cities: Allendale, Mich., and Boston, Mass. At the road split, certain individuals broke self records and school ones, some of them going as far as two decades in the making.
“I think it was a great meet for a lot of people, even though it was a really long meet. I think everyone came out really strong, and it's showing that we are going to be good for conference,” said senior sprinter Sierra Fischer.
Fischer was among some of the stars in Allendale.
