SAN ANTONIO — Led by a record-setting performance from Bashiru Abdullahi, the UTSA track & field teams won five events on the final day of the Roadrunner Invitational on a windy Saturday at Park West Athletics Complex.
Abdullahi raced to a wind-aided time of 13.61 seconds in cruising to victory in the men's 110-meter hurdles for the second time in two tries this outdoor season. That marked the fastest time recorded under any conditions in school and meet history, bettering Keyunta Hayes' UTSA standard of 13.67 established in 2012 and the Roadrunner Invitational mark of 13.
