SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will look to snap its six-game losing skid this weekend when it hosts defending Conference USA Tournament Champion FIU for a three-game series. First pitch for Friday's opener is scheduled for 6 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday's contests are slated for 2 p.m. and noon, respectively.
In the last meeting between the two teams, the Panthers run-ruled the Roadrunners at the conference tournament by a score of 15-5. Overall, the all-time series is tied at two.
UTSA (10-14, 1-5 C-USA) heads into the weekend following Tuesday night's 5-4 loss at Baylor, as the Bears scored four times over the final three innings, including once in the ninth.
