SAN ANTONIO — UTSA and Illinois announced Wednesday that they will play a non-conference game on Sept. 4, 2021, at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill. It will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
The Roadrunners now have three contests scheduled for 2021, as today's announcement joins previously-announced home games against I-35 rival Texas State (Sept. 11) and Memphis (Sept. 25).
UTSA will begin spring drills on Monday, March 21, and the sixth annual UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game presented by HealthTexas is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, at the Alamodome.
