SAN ANTONIO — The No. 26-ranked UTSA men's golf team will play the first of two scheduled tournaments this week when it travels to Houston for the Bayou City Collegiate Classic on Monday-Tuesday, April 5-6, at Westwood Country Club (par 72/7,184 yards).
The Roadrunners will face Abilene Christian, No. 42 Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic, No. 49 Houston, Houston Baptist, Lamar, Louisiana, McNeese State, New Mexico State, Nicholls, North Texas, Rice, Sam Houston State, South Alabama, Texas State and UTEP. The field will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
Ranked in the top 30 by Golfstat for the fourth straight week, UTSA will compete as a team for the first time since finishing second at the Trinity Forest Invitational on March 7-9 in Dallas.
