SAN ANTONIO — The UTSA men's golf team will host the Lone Star Invitational this week at Briggs Ranch Golf Club (par 72/7,247 yards). The two-day event is scheduled to tee off on Monda y and admission is free.
The Roadrunners will welcome 15 teams to the Alamo City for their second of two annual home tournaments. UTSA will face Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Houston Baptist, Little Rock, Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese State, Miami (Ohio), Mississippi State, New Mexico State, North Texas, Ohio State, Rice, Southeastern Louisiana, Texas State and UTEP in the 54-hole, stroke-play event.
The field will play 36 holes on Monday and the final round is slated for Tuesday with an 8:30 a.
