SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will continue its five-game home stand on Saturday when it hosts Texas A&M-Kingsville at 2 p.m.
The Roadrunners (3-4) are coming off Tuesday's 106-65 victory against Howard Payne. It was the first time since 1993 that theUTSA recorded 100-plus points in a contest.
Tesha Smith earned her first start since her freshman campaign and did not disappoint. Smith scored a career-high 29 points on 12-of-15 shooting and added 12 rebounds for her second double-double of the year (ninth in career overall).
Smith is averaging team highs of 13 points and 8.
