SAN ANTONIO — UTSA will begin a three-match home stand on Friday when it hosts I-35 rival Texas State at 4 p.m.
The Roadrunners (7-8) got back to their winning ways last Sunday when they shut out Southern Utah by a score of 4-0 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Jacobea Junger continues to pace UTSA in singles play this spring, as the senior from Stuttgart, Germany, owns a 9-4 record at No. 2 singles. Two-time All-Conference USA honoree Miriam Rosell Canudas and Lina Hallgren are just one victory behind their teammate with identical 8-4 marks.
Meanwhile, Junger and Rosell Canudas have combined for a squad-best 10 double triumphs this year and the pair comes into Friday's contest riding a five-match winning streak.
