AUSTIN — Texas opened the game on a 21-4 run and never looked back in a 116-50 victory against UTSA on Tuesday night at the Frank Erwin Center.
The contest marked the last for UTSA in a stretch where it played eight of its first nine games away from the Convocation Center.
George Matthews led the Roadrunners (1-8) with a career-high 12 points, while Ryan Bowie added 10 and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cameron Ridley paced the Longhorns (5-3) with 19 points and nine boards and Tevin Mack chipped in 17 points. Texas shot 64.
