Cushing Stadium just before the track events were scheduled to get underway at 5:30 p.m. After multiple lightning delays, officials made the decision at approximately 8:30 p.m. to postpone all uncontested events to Saturday, meaning Bashiru Abdullahi will have to wait another day to keep his season alive in the men's 110-meter hurdles quarterfinal round.
