Roadrunners upset 18th-ranked Houston on Tuesday night, 3-2

HOUSTON — UTSA used a combined effort on Tuesday night at No. 18 Houston for a 3-2 victory at Darryl & Lori Schroeder Park.

The Roadrunners (6-2) sent the Cougars (4-4) to their fourth consecutive loss and it was their first win against Houston since winning a pair of games during the 2011 season.

Geonte Jackson picked up his second multiple-hit game of the season by going 2-for-3 with a run scored and walk.

Karl Craigie earned his first start of the season but received the no-decision. The southpaw logged 3.2 innings and allowed one run on four hits.
