EL PASO, Texas – The UTSA volleyball team fell in three sets (17-25, 22-25, 23-25) at UTEP on Tuesday afternoon at Memorial Gym.
UTSA (3-7, 1-3 Conference USA) fell at UTEP (3-4, 3-1 C-USA) in the second of a two-match swing through El Paso on Monday and Tuesday. The Miners claimed the opener in four sets.
Tied at nine, the Miners used a 5-0 run – featuring three service aces from Ava Palm – to claim the opening set, 25-17.
UTSA and UTEP were even at seven in the second set, when the clubs traded 5-0 runs.
