HOUSTON – After a cold and rainy battle, the UTSA soccer team fell to Rice 1-0 Thursday afternoon at Holloway Field.
In the 70th minute, the Owls scored off a free kick as the ball floated through the air, over defenders and found the left side of the goal.
UTSA posted eight shots with three on target. Lexi Bolton led the team with three shots and one on goal.
Taylor Rath recorded three saves, while Jil Schneider had one.
