Katie Becker has overcome a lot of triumph in her life, on and off the field. During her freshman season at UTSA, she was told her soccer career would be over sooner than she thought due to an injury. Still wanting to be involved, Katie started helping with the team in an assistant position learning more of the operations side of things. Katie was adjusting to life without soccer and just living her life until January 2020 when she started to not feel well. Fast forward to spring break where Katie heard the word no 19 year-old ever thought they'd hear .
